Cat news at the Saperberger Household

| Comments (0)

I'll refrain from posting my wonderful picture of the ex-mouse, but Wonder caught himself ANOTHER mouse last night - maxing six or seven, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself - leading me to wonder if the sadly-departed Anton was slacking off in his position as house mouser or if an army of mice have sensed opportunity on the breeze and have marched in.

I suggested that this is why Wonder is so insistent on going outdoors - so he can convince more mice to come in, thus affording him some job security.

Lynn pointed out that this makes all of the tiny signs around scrawled with the words 'mouse fud inside' and an arrow pointing to our house suddenly make more sense.

However, it appears that the mice are making some dangerous technical inroads: Researchers make mice unafraid of the scent of danger.

Further, just because it seems vaguely appropriate: War On String May Be Unwinnable, Says Cat General
