Going through some of the millions of boxes of papers I have and found
(before stopping to parent):
- notes for a rock opera an old pal and I were toying with a long time ago
- the receipt for my 12-string acoustic (about $125, and worth every penny - exactly)
- a typed letter from you which briefly mentions (I didn't read too thoroughly) you drinking five or six Bass' and having some sort of interaction with your old girlfriend that you weren't sure what meant
- a few snapshots of a longtime pal (since the 3rd grade!) from our junior high days.
- about twelve million photos from my HS trip to Germany
These were all in an old beer case I probably haven't opened in two
decades or so.This is gonna be hard and probably painful work. I've got half-a-mind to
just burn all of this crap, but I know I won't - how could I do that to
memories, especially ones I've carried around with me through several
states and so many years?Yeesh.
From an email I sent yesterday...
