Bush urges ban on "morphed" porn - Tech News - CNET.com
I got mad about this when he said it a couple of years ago, and stumbling across it in a current news story made me angry again.
During a debate in Oct. 2000, Bush said: "Columbine spoke to a larger issue, and it's really a matter of culture. It's a culture that somewhere along the line we begun to disrespect life, where a child can walk in and have their heart turn dark as a result of being on the Internet and walk in and decide to take somebody else's life."
Know what? It's not the Internet or video games or violent movies or rock videos that makes crazed killahz - and it ain't parents, either. But they can help make the opposite happen.
