I'm a Beloit College student and I'm currently writing a journalism piece on the evolution of the C-Haus (formerly known as the Mock Turtle Coffee House). Some people gave me your name and told me you would be a good person to talk to. I want to get a general history of the bar, the bands that played there and people's perceptions surrounding it throughout the years. I have a couple of questions I would like to ask you, so if you could email me back asap, I would greatly appreciate it.
I went to the C-Haus once when I was passing through Beloit, looking for Jeremy. There was this band - a bunch of white boys playing funk with a trombone player who amazed! - and a writhing floor of arms and heads. There was a pair of ancient VocalMaster PA stacks that sounded like the cones were in shreds, and it was perfect.
It's so quiet in here. I miss Jeremy. I come here sniffing the air for him, and look under the magazines.
Hi Jeremy,

Thanks for your time!
