OK, Robben, I admit it.

Another one of the reasons I've been away from the blogging is the nice lady pictured to the left. Her name is Myra, and we met online a little more than a year ago, through my linking to her website here and her thanking me in my comments.

It turns out our lives have followed strikingly similar paths and we became fast pals. Eventually, she was visiting me and the apartment next door came up for rent. She was jobless and had nothing (save family) really holding her in Missouri and I was implementing my master plan to pick my own neighbors, so she moved on up. A job came shortly after and now, for better or worse, she's my neghbor!

Before she got that job, we hung out a lot together, drinking lots of coffee & beer and feeling anxious about unemployment, which seemed to take up a lot of my time, to the detriment of this blog. Sorry, everyone.

(And, yeah, there were lots of other things going on, too - some of which I've already discussed, some of which will probably never be blogged - but we (I, the 'royal' we) seem to be, praise Jahweh, beyond them. For now.)
