Daily Kos :: Seymour Hersh at Hampshire College, blasts Bush
Seymour Hersh gave the 7th annual Eqbal Ahmad Lecture tonight at Hampshire College in Amherst, MA. The gymnasium had been filled with 800 folding chairs, and by the time Hersh began to speak the room was filled to capacity. He offered a trenchant critique of the Bush administration and its disastrous war in Iraq.
The link is to a VERY good rundown on the talk. I was fortunate enough to see Hersh speak at my own college in the mid-80s - it's pretty much the only guest lecture I recall (and there were some good ones beside him - Phillip Glass and Calvin Trillin come to mind, but I can't really remember being in Easton Chapel watching them - he's the one who has stuck with me lo, these twenty years),
Wow. Go read. You'll be glad - or sad - you did.
