A phone call from Lesley & Matt prompts me to post a little recap for those you tuning in late. I am now – and for a month have been – employed with a local web house. It’s way close to my house and I like the people I work with and it’s all very cool. I haven’t talked about it much here because, well, do you really care? If you’re dying to know more, give me a call or drop me an email, ‘kay?

Were you wondering if I’d ever post some more writing? Here’s another piece I wrote about Memphis, dug up and posted because I got this in an email:

P.S. Jeremy..you–unwittingly perhaps–have been the motivation for the trip to Memphis, my dear old friend..may i have the good fortune and technique to capture for myself my own version of “Me and Memphis” :0)

Thanks, Bri.

Who would’ve thunk: it turns out that Alice Cooper’s ‘Halo Of Flies’ and Love Tractor’s cover of Kraftwerk’s ‘Neon Lights’ segue very nicely.

All DJed out now after my triumphant return engagement Psychedelic Psaturday at the Circle A. I had a good time and spun nobly, inducing one young lady to tears in the depth of her sorrow, then to joy at the high, keening perfect sound I manipulated the turntables to emit. Or something like that. Whatever. Gloomy/Happy girl, what was your story? I’d like to know.

And, because I’ve now heard of TWO people who found this website by Googling for Greg DuMonthier’s name, I thought I’d mention him again

One mans tragedy is another man’s comedy:
Timo writes “The second event that made me feel better today occurred as I was walking home from the gym and saw a stalled car flashing its emergency lights at the busy intersection near my house. The man in the car behind the stranded jumped out of his truck and began loudly berating the poor person in the stalled car (for slowing him down, I guess?). I immediately knew what I had to do. I crossed the street and offered to help push his car to the side of the road. He was very grateful, and that made me happy. Helping people will make you happier.” which made me think of this past post of mine.
